Certification Information

To become a certified TTAO Adjudicator, you must complete an initial series of workshops and observations.  Click here for a complete list of certification workshops.

 

Once a new adjudicator has been certified, they may activate their certification here . Activation requires an annually updated Membership Directory Profile and an Annual dues of $50 or a Lifetime dues payment of $500.  The official membership renewal period is the month of May.  A $20 fine will be assessed to all adjudicators renewing after the June 1st deadline.  Any member not fully renewed by July 1st will be considered lapsed and inelibible to accept contests for the UIL season

To become a certified TTAO Contest Manager, you must complete an initial workshop--usually conducted in January at the TETA Convention.  You also must achieve Contest Manager Certification from the Texas UIL office.  A link to the UIL page for Contest Managers is here.
